Information You Provide to GRiT

In General  There are numerous ways that GRiT obtains information from you, which can include, but not limited to: (1) via signup on the GRiT Site(s); (2) from an online, email, retail, fax or telephone purchase or information request; (3) from navigational information about where visitors go on our Site; (4) when you enter GRiT promotions; (5) anytime you submit a business reply, product registration, or warranty card; (6) from participation in GRiT surveys (7) upon contacting customer service; (8) upon signing up at an event; and (9) upon submitting a product review.  If you choose not to provide such Personal Information or other information to us, you may not be able to participate in certain activities we offer.

In order to provide users with the most efficient and enhanced products and service,  and to better understand your preferences, we may request demographic information such as, but not limited to,  your gender, year of birth, activities of interest, shopping preference and product interest. Whether or not you provide this information is entirely up to you.

If we combine demographic or other information we collect about you with Personal Information about you, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information.

Individuals under 13

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), and we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Site, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Information GRiT Collects Automatically

In General. In addition to the Personal Information that you actively provide to us, we or our third party service providers may use a variety of technologies to automatically collect information about you when you use the Site. This information may include demographic information, browser type, browser environment data, operating system, IP address, mobile device identifiers and other information. This information may also include clickstream data, which is information about the sequence and flow of mouse clicks and keystrokes which you make in navigating through the GRiT Site.

Embedded Scripts 

An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the GRiT Site, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your Device from our server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the website, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.

Information GRiT Receives from Third Parties

GRiT may receive information about you from third parties. In addition, if you are on another website and you opt-in to receive information from us then that website will forward to us your e-mail address and other information about you so that we may contact you as requested. We may also supplement the information we collect about you with outside records from third parties in order to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. Social Media Applications

Our Site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. To Third Party Service Providers Providing Services on GRiT’s Behalf.  We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
